Day at the Beach

Yesterday we enjoyed a fabulous day at the beach. Most of the Afghans I’m with had never seen the ocean, so they were keen to take a day trip there. It wasn’t originally in our schedule, but we managed to use our day off to go and explore.
Now the retribution is that my legs are horribly sunburned. I put on 70 spf in the morning and wasn’t expecting to show my legs. I rolled up my pants to keep them dry and in turn just scorched my legs. Pain!

We took a very long walk on the beach, easily a couple of miles. Fun to check out people enjoying their Sunday at the beach.

Fun was had by all!
