Kids will be Kids

One of the things that I’ve learned through my travels, is that kids are often very similar, the world over. In this case in point, give a kid a pair of funny colored glasses and they’ll find a way to goof off with them!
This boy captured my heart instantly when he gave me this winning pose. Here we were stuck in one of the worst sections of road imaginable, and he was having the time of his life with this pair of glasses! In my photo for tomorrow’s post I managed to catch another kid goofing off as well. Fun was clearly had by all.

This boy in Congo also reminded me of a series of photos I have of my nephew goofing off with a pair of silly glasses a couple of years ago.

Kids will be kids,

Miel

    Oh, to be a kid.

The child in the Congo looks like such a little professor.

And your nephew? His whole face is just aglow.

‘Drea – Yes, the Congolese is clearly confident. Lord knows DRC could use some success stories from their youth.

That is a very apt description of my nephew. He definitely puts a place aglow.

It’s nice to enjoy the kids of the world when I’m traveling too much to have my own.

    Cheers,

Great shots! Silliness is universal 🙂

Can’t wait to see more kid photos.
