New Position

Today marks one year in Afghanistan!

And what a year it has been. While I’m very glad to have taken the leap to Kabul, I’m also delighted to announce that I’ve landed a new job and will be moving on to even more challenging and rewarding work.

I’ve now taken an executive position with another education project here in Afghanistan. With more autonomy and direct work on technical aspects of the project, I believe that it will be a very rewarding experience.

For professional and security reasons I’m being vague about the specific project activities, but you can feel free to email me about more details and I can send you the link to our project website.

Despite the challenges of living in Afghanistan, I am very much looking forward to staying on. It has been a rewarding experience thus far, and I feel that I have a great deal to contribute back to the development of the country. It won’t be an easy process, but I believe that I can do more here trying to help than I can elsewhere.
